Freshwater Poetry Festival Celebrates Publication of the Thirteenth Annual Issue of the College’s Poetry Journal
Asnuntuck Community College will celebrate the publication of the 2012 issue of its internationally known poetry journal, Freshwater, on Friday, May 4th and Saturday May 5th, with the Thirteenth Annual Freshwater Poetry Festival. The festival will kick off at 7:00 PM. on Friday night, with music provided by Derek Ryan O’Kanos followed by a reading by the winners of the Twentieth Annual Student Poetry Contest, judged by Connecticut Poet Laureate, Dick Allen.
